The Vampire Diaries : No Exit, No Quality Content, No Nothing..

   Just watched the preview for this week's TVD, and apparently Katherine may or may not die. And Elena may or may not come back.

   I hate this show. You know how they say there's a fine line between love and hate ? Well, I just crossed it, except backwards, I went from absolute unconditional love to extremely conditional love to 'I freaking hate everything about this show.

   First, Caroline and Tyler are on the mend. Even though he basically said he'd never forgive her, they spent the whole day together and they even laughed together. Nope. Not nearly enough drama. Where's all the hate and suffering ? Huh ?? I don't like Tyler and I only like Caroline in regards to the Klaroline story line. And that ship is sailed. So now I'm back to hating her guts.

   Caroline and Stefan are really pissing me off as a team. Why do they always need to stick their nose where it doesn't belong ? Figuring out sire bonds and body thefts, wtf just mind your own damn business ! And is there ever really gonna be a Steroline ship ?? I don't want that. I want to spit in the face of that implication. Caroline and Stefan ?! Gross. Just gross, get outta here.

Intense thinking process

   Taking Elena's body was the dumbest thing Katherine has ever done. I said it before she did it, and again after, and I still stick by it : wrong f#cking move. There's always a way to save Elena when she's dying, there was a way there too, nobody bothered to look for it. Because they all suck. Except Katherine and Damon, I love you my little babies.

   They were bound to find out. How could she even think it would work ? She thought she could fake being Elena for an eternity !! Didn't even make it through 4 episodes. And how is making Stefan fall back in love with her impersonating Elena satisfying in any way ?? Is she really that desperate ? No she's not, the writers are making her like that ! And I hate them for it.

 

   And her plans are so evil they're doomed to fail. Damon is still a problem for her so she figures she'll just get Stefan to kill him ! My, what a great plan, really it's awesome, can we just stop here for a sec ? She has known them for like 2 centuries, she knows they love each other, she knows Stefan would rather cut his arm open than kill his brother. At least she got to torture Damon a little. Payback's a bitch.

   But in the end she just screwed herself because she forgot that Elena would rather bleed to death than kill anyone she loves. Katherine is smarter than that. So why are the writers making her dumber and dumber. It's just a bad decision on top of another bad decision on top of a massive pile of wtf?!

   I am done with this show. I solemnly vow to never expect good things to come from this show ever again. So, Katherine's gonna die, Elena will come back, be with Damon for a while and then she'll go with Stefan and they'll live happily ever after and be boring together. And I'm fine with that, I no longer have expectations, so go ahead, kill my favorite character, what do I care..

The Vampire Diaries Finale : Tyler And Caroline

I just really want to talk about this, and then I'm done with the Vampire Diaries finale ! Mostly because there won't be anything I haven't talked about.

So Tyler and Caroline were supposed to leave town because of Alaric's take over of the council. But Caroline wouldn't leave without at least trying to help the others so they decided to meet up 2 hours later and then leave town.

Only problem is, in those two hours, Klaus died. Klaus supposedly originated everyone's bloodline but the only thing that is certain is that he turned Tyler. There's no lying about that. If Klaus dies, Tyler dies it's unavoidable.

I don't think I have ever cried this much watching the Vampire Diaries, but if I have it was because of a scene with Candice Accola. No doubt about that.

It was such a sweet and sad scene. Tyler tries to be reassuring and tells her she has a beautiful future ahead of her, that she's gonna be okay. What makes them so adorable is that in this moment they both know (/think) they're going to die, but both of them focus on the other, feel bad for the other. I've been rooting for them since the moment Tyler started asking her questions about what was going on with him after he triggered his werewolf side. And in the end they were together, facing death (possibly) together and only afraid for the other.

The Vampire Diaries loves having a character know they're gonna die and that there's not a damn thing they can do about it. It makes room for sweetly horrible moments. He knows for sure he's going to die, the only question remaining is : Is she ?

But when he's bend over and she's not it becomes clear she's gonna be okay and he's gonna die. 

So what does he do ? He makes her go away by threatening her so that she doesn't have to watch him die. Sigh.

And you'd think that's it. Enters Bonnie. She did some kind of spell or I don't know what. I know it saved everyone but it still pisses me off 'cause it's her. Why is she still here ? I seem to recall her dying at some point, why the hell is she still here ? I mean come on ! They can kill Alaric, Klaus AND Tyler but not her ? Not just her ?

So our good Michael Trevino's still standing except he's now Klaus. That way Tyler dies but the rest of them don't. Hurrah. 

Supernatural : Family Reunion

Last week in Supernatural, Bobby finally came back - really, with the boys seeing him and all ! I have been waiting for this moment since he died, now it finally happened and it sucked ...
So there was this chick, a friend of Bobby's, she needed help on some case or something so she called Sam and Dean but for some reason she couldn't wait for them so she went to the haunted house alone and of course she was killed by an angry ghost.

So when the boys came to the house they were like "Dude she's not picking up, maybe something happened to her !" Gee, you think ?

But, since Bobby is a ghost, he was able to get the story before them. First, he had a little heart to heart with his bestie, then he actually started asking questions to one of the hundred other ghosts trapped in the house. And thanks to that guy, he learned how to manifest himself within one episode ! 

And so came the long-awaited "Huh, you're still here !" moment. Except it sucked. First it was kinda' good, they were getting emotional and all but then Dean had to ruin everything and be all serious. 

For Dean, Bobby should've gone with the reaper to heaven where he could've been happy, and finally get some rest and have some fun after all this fighting. But Bobby decided to stay to "finish the work" and also because he couldn't quite bring himself to leave his boys just yet, and that was actually a very sweet moment way back in episode 10.

So now it's all conflicted emotions, they don't know what to do but apparently, for the two brothers, this cannot be a definitive solution. But they'll probably find a way to send him to heaven, I mean they're not gonna just off him, right ?

The Vampire Diaries : Flashbacks, Bonding, Fighting ... A Back-To-Basics Approach

I didn't know wether I should start with an episode I found great or really dull. I went with great :)
This is the 8th episode of the season 3 of the Vampire Diaries called "Ordinary People". I know it's not the most recent, it aired a few months ago but I felt like talking about it !

First I like that the Original family originally (no pun intended) came from Mystic Falls. And to get the whole life story was also pretty amazing. I mean to actually see them as humans ? I gotta say that was a good idea. And we also got to meet Michael in both past and present day, luckily they started with past Michael which gave us a better look at who he was and his relationship with Klaus.

I can't not talk about those two. Let's get one thing straight, I am a Delena fan although I'm starting to like Stefan, but we'll get to that later ... I liked that little "fighting" thing they did in that scene for the obvious reason : physical contact. But it was also really cute how Elena sucked at it. The whole scene turned out pretty good considering how ridiculous it might sound to have them train (more like fooling around imao) while Alaric's talking and actually trying to work on the photos.

Rebekah is such a sweet character. Sure she's tough and deadly but she's also just a girl. I mean, dammit she joined the cheerleading squad ! In this episode we got to see this adorable, fragile side of her for the first time, and that was important for the rest of the story.

My favourite scene in this episode (no it wasn't Elena and Damon in bed talking like the setting's perfectly normal). The whole bonding-over-drinks thing was actually pretty funny, I didn't expect it to be so it was a nice surprise. Michael pushing Stefan just enough to care about his brother was a good thing, sure, but it was only interesting because it really introduced Michael the heartless vampire hunter. Anyway, that scene outside the bar was brilliant ! Damon suddenly answering seriously, Stefan pushing him to the edge, repeating his line : "Your humanity's showing." I think that scene was really a turning point for the two of them. They both got sick of sarcastic comments, Stefan wanted answers and Damon answered. Then Damon lost it. Just another day in the Salvatore family.

In the end, a very good job from the Vampire Diaries' producers. Well played guys :)
